Location: Northamptonshire | Now both my boys are at school, it is the long summer holidays that are a real challenge for me. Nursery didn't close during this period and my eldest used to join my youngest at nursery a couple of days a week during the break. This is the first summer ( I use the term loosely) that I have had them both at home every day. I work from home as much as I can but still have to rely heavily on my family for childcare. My mum and sister-in-law both live nearby and are always more than happy to have my boys for me - I really don't know what I would do without them. Since I have had children I really appreciate the importance of having a close family network nearby...it makes a lot of difference!
How do you cope? Do you use family or friends?  |
