Location: Cornwall | I usually take my youngest to an indoor play area nearby....now that the schools have broken up I'll be giving it a miss until September! How do the rest of you cope? |

| I find it really difficult to know where to go, even the playground in the park is a no go in school hols........My 20 month old niece was nealy knocked down by a 10 year old going to fast on a bike, within 5 mins of stepping foot in the park. And it just was'nt safe for my three year old to play with her other cousin (also three), too many much older children.
Why can't they have certain times for certain ages? |

| I have problems too, we go to the beach a lot, but I'm lucky I live near the sea so easy for me to get to. My little ones loved berry picking when I took them last week, look for local farms that do self picking. Country parks always go down well, especially if I take a picnic! |

Location: Northamptonshire | I thought that I could take my 3 to the cinema...but the thought of it being full of kids really doesn't appeal. Everywhere I think of taking them is likely to be busy....I would like to stay at home until September....but they are bored already!! |

Location: Cornwall | Certain times for certain ages would be fantastic!! Although my children are a mixture of pre-school and school age so that would mean that I would spend most of my day waiting for the right slot to send my kids in!!!! Why can't we all have a different summer holiday so that it wasn't so busy everywhere!!!!!!!!!!! That would be my perfect solution! |

Location: Northamptonshire | I opt for the country park - mine are a bit older now, but I do remember when they were toddlers and the fear I had in the soft play areas with all these much older children charging round. I do think they need to segregate the ages a little in these places. |

Location: Northamptonshire | Can be a difficult one if you have a mixed age range of children. If you just have toddlers then I would definitely give all the usual places a bit of a wide berth in the school holidays. No fun when you have to queue for everything! We have a lovely country park that my boys love exploring but you have to have the weather you can't do it everyday. I just pray for sunshine - that way even at home in the garden they can have a mini adventure and you can relax a bit as you know they are in a safe environment. |
